Samsung DE61-00048A Microwave Key Spring OEM Part

I called Samsung Customer Support and was told I'd need to enter a service ticket since this repair was not something an owner could fix. Then I checked on line and found the parts on AppliancepartsPros.com and read the reviews from other owners about how simple this repair was. I ordered the parts, they were delivered within 2 days. The repair could not have been easier. I used a table knife to remove the plastic inner door, replaced the broken latch, snapped the plastic inner door back in place. Repair complete in less than 10 minutes. Before finding AppliancepartsPros, I was ready to replace the microwave (to the tune of over $300). Got a new key-d. Took off the trim around the microwave door, (die not remove door) and installed the new key-d. Very simple job. U-tube has video showing, in detail, how to do this fix.

Discovered it was the door latch and spring that had broken. Found the part with help of AppliancePartsPros -- local parts company would not/did not check if other branded part would fit my Maytag. Arrived promptly* and I easily installed the replacement part following online instructions. For what it's worth, I am a 67 yr old female. Four stars only because the spring has not been shipped. *spring key was not included in shipment, but I had saved original spring and it worked.
