Luis R Punta Gorda , FL August 08, 2015 Appliance: Model SAMSUNGRFG297HDRS No ice production Water inlet valve was not supplying water to ice maker. The water inlet valve is not available/DA-03150A. Samsung was no help. Appliance Parts Pros said that part DA 81-05997A was the replacement part. This part includes the entire housing that the water filter and water holding bottle are housed in, and of course, the water inlet valve. After resetting the ice maker it started to produce ice cubes in about 12 hours. Lacey C Port Orchard , WA April 29, 2017 Samsung dryer motor mount clamp came off The clip that holds the motor in place (stupid design) had stretched and popped off causing a grinding sound in the dryer when the drum rotated. This required removing the top and front panels of the dryer, and removing the drum to replace the clamp. There are 2 clamps on the motor mount (front and back) I would recommend changing both out while your there. All in all it was about an hour to take apart the dryer and diagnose the problem. About a hour to put back together and test. but seems to be running good now. Peter J Minneapolis , MN August 31, 2015 Appliance: Model SUMSUNG DV365ETBGWR No error code push start dryer tried to start drum didn't turn just sat there I wanted to thank you for the helpful video's on dryer issues. My daughter's dry quit turning, figured it was the belt. Watched the video on belt replacement. Took the dryer apart, it wasn't the belt, bummer. Thinking about the video's I'd watched, checked the drum rollers, they seamed fine. While checking the rollers, bumped something near the tensioning pulley that was loose. Turned out to be motor clamp. It was bent/out of shape which allowed the motor to move/shift. Thought maybe that might cause an issue somewhere that would cause the dryer not to work. Found clamps on your site. I hate ordering on the internet so called your 1-800 nember. Guy who answered was great. Wanted to verify the part number to the dryer model before placing the order to make sure the right part was being ordered, nice. Part shipped Monday evening, I had it Wednesday and the dryer was working Thursday, sometimes life can be so good. So after all that mindless babble.... Email this earlier.... Thanks for the video's Thanks for the fantastic service when ordering parts And maybe something to add to why the drum doesn't turn, motor clamps could be added as a consideration. With my house and two single daughters, pretty sure I'll need more parts (hopefully not for a while but...) and I'll be back to your site. And thanks again for the excellent service Read More...
