Shawn S Tampa , FL September 05, 2015 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG RSG257AARS Plastic piece broke from bottom of freezer door wouldn't close or stay shut Ordered the pieces from here. Downloaded the user manual. I never work on appliances but I couldn't justify the $200 a service tech would have charged to fix a $35 part. Followed the manual and removed the door. Replaced the broken plastic pieces. BE VERY CAREFUL not to strip the screws. I did and that's another story. Very easy to fix. You will need a second person to help guide the door back onto the frame. David D Valencia , CA December 16, 2016 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG FRENCH DOOR Freezer door would not close Problem was with the bottom hinge. Plastic cam riser failed. One must push in on the grey collar with a finger nail as you pull the tubing out. DIY saved at least $300.
