Genuine Bosch part

Part Number: 00187527
This dishwasher door spring counterbalances the door's weight for smooth, controlled opening and closing. Replacing a worn or broken spring restores proper door tension and helps prevent the door from dropping quickly or feeling heavy.
- Provides tension to counterbalance the dishwasher door during opening and closing
- Helps prevent the door from slamming open or feeling overly heavy
- A weakened or broken spring can cause uneven door movement, squeaks, or the door not staying in a partial-open position
- Restores smooth, even door operation when replaced
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
- Remove the toe-kick and carefully slide the dishwasher out to access the side/frame area where the spring attaches
- Note the original spring attachment points and orientation; install the new spring in the same locations
- Springs are under tension—use caution and hand protection; many replace both springs together to maintain balanced tension

Broken door springs on kitchen aid dishwasher John M. • Carmel , CA • September 19, 2014
One of the two springs on our 25-year-old dishwasher broke with a loud "bang" five days ago. This is an easy fix, involving the removal of only the bottom access panel (two screws). However, we have a wooden insert covering the door, so that the dishwasher matches the cabinets. This makes the door MUCH heavier than normal, and so the door springs are not stock, but are heavy-duty.
I didn't know what springs to buy.

Dishwasher not draining correctly John W. • Ashburn , VA • January 15, 2016
I watched a suggested video about my model and was able to easily take apart the filter unit and access the drainage area. I found a worn out "Float" Valve. In the process of replacing the float valve I went ahead and replaced a gasket and the Valve, Check. Repairs went great.
Parts were a perfect fit. This is the second time I used AplliancePartsPros.

- Common symptoms include water leaking during fill, moisture around the inlet area, or visible cracks/deformation of the funnel
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Access the funnel at the water entry point for your model
- Remove the old funnel; seat the new funnel evenly and ensure the seal is fully seated

Part Number: 154622001
This drain valve controls the flow of water out of the appliance to remove standing water and prevent overflow. Replacing a faulty valve restores normal draining and helps stop pooling or persistent drain error symptoms. What it does:
- Opens and closes to release water from the appliance drain path.
- Works with the pump/drain line to move water out during cycles.
- Common issues indicating failure: appliance won't drain, water pooling, or intermittent drain errors.
- Fits as the direct replacement component for the OEM valve in affected models.
What's included: One drain valve. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before starting work.
- Expect residual water in hoses; have towels and a pan ready to catch spills.
- Remove and replace using basic hand tools; keep clamps and seals secure to avoid leaks.

Drain valve indicator on Stephen S. • Anniston , AL • July 27, 2014
Replaced the drain valve. duh. here's the kicker...original problem was circulation pump was broken. Paid $350 to have it "professionally" fixed, and when we turned it on, it wouldn't run, so "professional tech" said "it must be the control panel". So I say maybe, send him away, checked the indicator panel and sure enuf, drain valve light. So I ordered it here, replaced the valve, and it ran really funky with weird noises, Then water starts leaking under dw. So I figured I did something...
