Broken door handle end caps Peter T. • Minneapolis , MN • December 05, 2016
Removed Torx screws inside the dishwasher door, this causes the door panel to fall forward/down. Having a rug or something underneath to prevent scratches is useful. It's about 8 screws that need to come out, if I recall correctly they are all the ones with the torx head facing into the dishwasher when in the closed position. Then the panel comes off, exposing the bolts holding the handles, the cap comes off easily and replaces easily and reverse the process. Some of the screws are different...

Recessed pocket door handle was cracked Michael P. • Dunwoody , GA • January 07, 2019
In order to replace this, you must remove the "outer door". This service manual is a pretty good reference (page 37):
http://members.msaworld.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/02/2013-DW-Service-Manual.pdf
Note that this specific dishwasher has 12 screws that need to be removed before the outer door can be separated.
Once separated, don't even bother trying to push the broken handle out of the front as suggested. You will probably end up damaging the outer door. Instead, take some...

Dishwasher would not run William H. • Morehead City , NC • February 14, 2015
I found the door switch was not making contact when the door closed. I adjusted it, but then it would not open so the dishwasher would run when the door wasn't closed.
The contacts were too long in the switch so they would bend and stay together when the door opened. The original switch was very poorly made for a very expensive Maytag dishwasher.
The new switch you supplied was much better quality and easily replaced the one that was installed at the factory.
I was a little baffled at the...

My old door latch was not making a consistent connection the diswaher wouldd stop mid cycle and you had to jiggle it to get it to finish William K. • Gettysburg , PA • August 22, 2014
I turned off the power then removed the six or so screws from the back of the top panel. I marked the two front wires on the latch with tape so I would not get them confused. I removed the two screws holding the latch on--these take a six pointed star bit on the screw driver--the bit is in most screw driver sets with interchangeable heads. I then connected the wires to the new latach and put everything back together. The whole process took between ten and fifteen minutes.

Both endcaps on the handle of my 9 year old bosch dishwasher had cracked leaving it loose Jack M. • Freeport , ME • March 18, 2016
I easily found the replacement part on the Appliance Parts Pros website and ordered (2), one for each end of the handle and yes it is the same part for either side. They showed up a few days later. I had seen a video of how to expose the handle screws behinf the door face. I backed out the appropriate (6) Torx screws and the front of the dishwasher door came right off exposing the handle screws. (Note: This model of dishwasher is well engineered as the door face is completely separated from the...

Broken Handle Elsie S. • Aliquippa , PA • March 16, 2014
After finding the model number for my dishwasher, I looked on line for the part and ordered it. The part arrived next day.
I was a little hesitant to tackle it myself, as I am a 67 year old female. However I decided I could do it and was all set until I found out that I needed a Torx screwdriver. This however was not going to stop me.
At a trip to my neighbor I was able to find bit for a drill that would let me remove one screw. The next stop was to my favorite hardware store where I...

Broken fascia on Bosch dishwasher. Jerry's W. • Washougal , WA • November 19, 2017
The old fascia had broken and been torn off. I should have saved the buttons from it, but I didn't know that I'd be repairing it - I figured I would have to replace the unit. Well, money is tight, so I got the model number from the unit and looked up parts online. I couldn't find the exact model number on this site, but the picture of the fascia looked just like the picture in my manual, so I bought it, a handle strip, and a new set of buttons.
I pulled the stainless panel off the front, then...
