Looked for obvious signs of mal-function, burned wires, etc. I found that the compressor controller(attached to the compressor) had an obvious burned-out spot. Bought a new overload relay too repair, plus a new thermal protection switch because it was cheap.
Both parts are actually located on the compressor behind a plastic cover. Found part numbers for parts by searching the compressor number on google! $25 Repair............

Replaced it. Ordered the dispenser cover because the repair guy said they usually break the plastic tabs removing the cover. I didn't and reused the old one. Just need to be careful removing the old one. Cover just pries off. Simple to replace.
