Replaced the drain pump and the drain hose (since I was replacing the drain pump). The new drain pump seems to pump out the water more forcefully than the one replaced. Have not received a LD code during the wash cycle since the replacement was installed. Read more

I listen very carefully and looked up on line many items that may cause it. One thing, along with the knock was a ting like noise. Like tapping on the sheet metal of the machine. I rocked the drum back and forth and could only find a similar nose. Rotating had nothing. At that point I figured it had to do something with the suspension rods. Springs were broken and back bracket was bent I replaced the bracket and all four Springs including the vertical one. I removed the cabinet as shown in the video. Then with a pair of vise grips's removed the springs one by one and replace them. The bracket was rusted And bent i used a quarter inch socket with a quarter inch ratchet to remove the screw. Due to the rust i used penetrating oil the screw. Read more
