Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. When the lens broke the light fell down into the base of the cooktop. I bought a light and lens but for the price I could not go wrong. I cannot believe how fast and easy my order was handled!! Bought the drawer support, unscrewed the screw with a socket wrench, installed the new drawer support, wala! Took 1 minute. Moral to the story, don't overload that bottom drawer. Metal cookie sheets or the broiler pan is okay, but not big ceramic baking trays, they're too heavy for the nylon drawer supports. Read more

Called Appliance Parts - service agent was extremely helpful. Tried to find an assembled piece was unable to do so. Send me the individual parts which were very easy to assemble. Was able to replace entire light assembly, reconnect wire with new terminal end. Light works find just now. Would definitely call again if I needed assistance. Read more

Removed the front off the back panel, unplugged the old unit. Then using a blow dryer heated the old timer to peel the face /cover off and applied to the new clock. Plugged in the replacement clock. Replaced the front of the range. The only complaint I have is we were not informed that a new face would not be included and the old one would have to be removed and applied to the replacement clock. Replaced glider. But then discovered the cause of the broken glider. The stove was damaged while being moved during a renovation. The sheet metal on the side of the stove had to be straightened. Read more

First swapped other working burner and the problem moved. This verified that the problem was with the burner element and not something else. I order the part from ApplianceParts. The new burner connector looked different than the old one but the new one fit fine. The time to fix was less than five minutes and required no tools. Read more

We were renting a vacation house on the bay and discovered that the oven door inner glass was broken. (There are two glasses inside the glass oven door. Only one was broken.) Dismantled the upper part of the stove and removed old part. Had to super glue plastic parts of the underneath part where the touch pad is to be attached to. Put in new touch pad. Worked fantastic. Read more

Replaced thermostat. Biggest challenge was how to feed the thermostat from the back of the stove into the oven. I found the easiest way is to tie a string onto the existing thermostat in the oven before it is removed. When the existing thermostat is pulled out the back un-tie the string and tie it on the new thermostat then pull the string from in the oven to draw the new thermostat through the hole. Read more
