This is a temperature sensor that monitors the internal temperature of the refrigerator compartment and sends readings to the main control board. The control board uses this data to regulate the compressor and cooling cycles. Replace this sensor if the refrigerator is too warm, too cold, runs continuously, or displays incorrect temperature readings.
I removed the defrost sensor assembly, installed a new one, it worked. Because of a shipping problem with FEDEX, Appliancepartspros resent the parts not once but twice. Needless to say, they are my go-to source for parts from now on. Read more
Mounts to the bottom of your refrigerator door to control swing angle and prevent overextension. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to stop door damage.
The left hinge works on the right side as well as the left. All you have to do is unscrew the little plastic post and move it to the other hole. So even though the web might say that the left hinge assembly is not compatible with your fridge, or that the right hinge assembly is no longer available, it will still work. The door stopper assembly worked just fine. All you have to do is screw it in to the bottom of the door. You will have to disassemble the top hinge (on top of the fridge) in... Read more

I ordered the part I needed using Appliance Pro's website, all parts were clearly shown with part's identified with a number, scrolling down on the page showed those numbers making identifying my part super easy. The best part of the transaction was the speed of delivery, I ordered my parts on Saturday and they arrived on Monday and the repair was simple . Now that's what I call service. I will most definitely use Appliance Pro's again. Read more

This dispenser lever holder is the mounting bracket behind the refrigerator's dispenser paddle. It supports and aligns the lever and switch so water or ice dispenses reliably when the paddle is pressed.
Refrigerator was easy. Simply replaced the activator switch that was sticking. The range hood was a little more difficult. I had replaced the switch years ago but it still didn’t work. So I took on the challenge of replacing the transformer. That was difficult to get to but once replaced and reassembled the lights work fine. Read more
Drawer slide rail supports smooth pedestal drawer opening and closing. Replace if drawer sticks, won't close, or plastic spring breaks. Verify fit with model.
Unfortunately I had to buy the whole rail, as the plastic part cannot be found anywhere. The rail that I received, even if in the pictorial description shows the right side (the one I needed), when I got it resembled the left side. Fortunately it could be mounted after some rotation, as the plastic spring and the rail are working together nd it is assembled on the rail, so it could be mounted. Read more

Replace a worn refrigerator door gasket to restore an airtight seal. Prevents warm air infiltration, reduces frost buildup, and improves cooling efficiency. Confirm fit with your model number before ordering.
This condenser fan motor assembly is located near the compressor at the bottom or rear of the refrigerator and circulates air over the condenser coils to dissipate heat. It helps the refrigerator maintain proper cooling temperatures efficiently. Replace this motor if the refrigerator is running warm, the compressor is overheating, or you no longer hear the fan running when the compressor is on.
Removed the old fan housing. Removed the fan from its housing and took the fan blade off. I then smelled the fan and it smelt of burnt insulation. I ordered a new fan and re-assembled in reverse order. Fan started up when compressor fired up. Fan was a plug & play item. Erroe Code cleared on the front and refrig is working fine. Only thing was the fan was not identical with the old one. It fit in the enclosure the same and the shaft was the same length. My old fan was 10 years old and they... Read more
Refrigerator not dispensing water or making ice without a filter? This bypass cap lets water flow directly to the dispenser and ice maker. Easy install.
My fridge is a Kenmore and four years old. The water filter had to be replaced every six months at a cost of $30 to $50 each or it didn't make ice. I decided not to buy any more filters. Sears Parts first told me that the bypass is built in (but the kitchen flood when I left the filter off), then they couldn't find the part to bypass the filter. The manual mentioned not to lose the cap, but I never received one on installation. So I went on line and found AppliancePartsPros.com and called. The... Read more
