This tube delivers incoming water from the inlet valve to the wash system inside the dishwasher. It connects the water inlet to the tub or spray arm assembly to ensure proper water flow during fill cycles. Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful.
