Leaking from the bottom or center of your dishwasher? The sump housing with included shaft seal often fixes this issue. DIY-friendly with video guide.
DIY, changed motor and sump. Put a dab of valve lubricant on seal. Wet outer seal of sump to get it to seat in bottom of tub. Cleaned electrical connectors corroded by leak. Coated connectors with dielectric grease. Had to buy additional clamp. Two clamps came in the sump package but both fit the smaller hose only. Neither fit the large hose. I wish the correct clamps were included. Home improvement store clamp is a little too wide to fit between ridges in large hose. Read more

Gasket for upper wheel.
With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY)... Read more

Quantity of ONE. Size: 8-18 x 5/8 inch. (#8 screw, 18 threads per inch, 5/8 inch long)
I ordered new seals from AppliancePartsPros.com. Finding the right seals was very easy, all based on model number of the appliance. While looking my unit over for other signs of wear, I noticed that a repair done by the prior homeowner to the lower wash arm was done improperly: a seal there was set protruding from the cover, the cover was missing screws, and the arm was missing the upper bushing. So I ordered a new seal, the missing screws, and both the top and bottom bushings (just to be... Read more
Fixes loose panels, rattling doors, or wobbly components caused by stripped or missing screws. Secures brackets, covers, and mounting hardware. Easy DIY.
Maytag Dishwasher (about 5 years old). Some of the buttons had stopped functioning. Then the Start button began choosing whether or not to work. Eventually it would not start at all. Upon removing the control panel, the first thing I noticed was that the brackets that hold the two lower screws were broken. (So this was the reason that the door was so hard to open from the time it was new.) I trouble shot the thermal fuse, the door-latch switches, and inspected the control board trying to find... Black access panel kit for dishwasher lower front area. Replaces missing, cracked, or damaged toe panel assembly. Secures under cabinet for finished look.
I found the part number, double checked it, and ordered the part, which arrived as promised. However, the part was just placed in a folded cardboard tube and was damaged by the shipper. I figured it was only a toe-kick, so I bent the part as best I could and installed it in 3 minutes. Read more
Drain hose connects dishwasher pump to exterior drain. Replace if cracked, leaking, chewed by rodents, or when check valve fails. Includes elbow connector.
I figured out that it was probably a plugged pump hose, since the pump would run, it somtimes it drained and sometimes it didn't. Your video helped with how to take the dishwasher out and replace the hose. I replaced the hose and everything is now working fine. It turned out to be a broken check valve in the old hose that caused the problem. It took 90 mins to do the repair. Read more
Fix dishwasher not heating or melted terminals with this heater terminal nut. Secures the heating element wire connection to prevent arcing and leaks.
Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. It now works perfectly. Read more
