Fix dishwasher not heating or melted terminals with this heater terminal nut. Secures the heating element wire connection to prevent arcing and leaks.
Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. This small plastic clip secures the tine row guards or protective caps on the dishwasher's upper or lower dishrack. It keeps the vinyl guard strips in place so they can protect dishes from scratching and prevent the rack tines from rusting. This is a small cap that covers and seals the rinse-aid reservoir on a dishwasher door. It keeps the rinse-aid liquid contained so it dispenses at the correct time during the wash cycle to prevent water spots on dishes.
