Stores and supplies water to your refrigerator's dispenser and ice maker. Replace if cracked, leaking, or damaged from mineral buildup or freezing.
Replaced tank assembly. Actually I think the supply hose was originally not fully seated in the tank and I think I could have re-seated it deeper through the gray bushing. When I set the line into the new tank, still leaking. Pulled out supply line and reset using a little more force and line went into the tank. Took the bushing clip off the other tank and used it for the supply line bushing. So far, no leaks. The thing to remember is to push the edges of each hose bushing inward to pull... Read more

Ice maker stopped producing ice or won't release cubes? This complete ice maker assembly fixes frozen, jammed, or non-working units. DIY-friendly repair.
All it really took to fix it was to take off 3 screws and loosen one larger screw. It really was that easy but it took a lot longer to do because we took out a lot of screws that we would not have needed too. Read more

Your web site sent me the sensor. Will always use your service! Read more
Seals the ice bank door to prevent warm air from melting ice and causing clumping. Replace if ice melts, refreezes into clumps, or frost forms around the bin.
We have an LG fridge that is 10 years old that was starting to have sweating problems around all the gaskets. So it was either a new fridge or try replacing the gaskets. I purchased a new ice maker door gasket using the parts catalog on the website. Very easy to order and they offer a short video to show the technique to switch out the old and new gaskets. Also did the same thing with the door gaskets and freezer drawer gasket. Website was very easy to work with and find the correct parts and... Read more

This is a rubber or elastomer damper that supports and isolates the evaporator fan motor inside the refrigerator. It absorbs vibration from the motor to reduce noise during normal operation. Replace this part if you hear excessive buzzing, rattling, or vibration coming from the freezer section, which often indicates the damper has hardened or deteriorated.
Ordered parts, removed top tray in freezer, popped the back inside freezer panel out removed and replaced fan, dampers and fan housing. Took about 15 minutes. Read more
Fix frost buildup in your freezer with this defrost heater. Solves cooling issues and prevents ice accumulation on evaporator coils. Moderate DIY repair.
I have had the unfortunate problem of fixing this previously, so knew what to order. I ordered the defrost sensor and heater... and replaced both. Honestly, all I needed was the sensor I did and ohm test and got 0 on it... meaning it was bad, but just in case I replaced the heater. The fridge works great now, but I would suggest if this is your first time with this issue, remove the panel, unplug both sensors from the fridge, and do and ohm test while they are still in the fridge... and then... The Mullion Flipper Assembly is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. This assembly, located between the refrigerator doors, helps seal the space between the doors when they are closed, improving energy efficiency by preventing cold air from escaping.
Causes of a bad mullion flipper assembly can include wear and tear over time, damage from frequent opening and closing of the doors, or issues with the hinges and connectors that secure it in place. A damaged or malfunctioning mullion flipper can lead to temperature inconsistencies and increased energy usage.
Symptoms of a bad mullion flipper assembly include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.
I searched online and easily found the best price for the Front Plate Assembly to be AppliancePartsPros.com. Even though I didn't pay for two day shipping, the part was shipped the next day and received the following day (Saturday), outstanding service. Installing the piece was quite simple, requiring removing two screws, slipping the old part off of two retaining clips and disconnecting one wire connector. Reverse this to install new part. Replace your broken or cracked refrigerator glass shelf. This tempered glass shelf installs in the fresh food compartment to organize food items.
Appliance Parts was the only one of three companies that did it right. When the glass in our rather new LG fridge broke, I called the number listed in the manual for replacement parts and was put through to their "authorized distributor" for our area. The authorized distributor sent us the wrong part (entirely different dimensions) with a packing slip identifying the right part number. Because this is not a review of that company (which would be horrible, I won't share the gruesome details of... Read more
This replacement lamp socket holds and powers the appliance light bulb, restoring clear, reliable illumination when the light is switched on. Replace a heat-damaged, cracked, or loose socket to stop flickering or a light that won't come on.
Was able to diagnose problem at AppliancePartsPros.com by entering the model #. This is apparently a common problem with this Refrigerator Replaced Light Socket Assembly, Lamp Reflector, Lamp Case and Lamp Cover. Also replaced the main circuit board (not sure if this was necessary). The wiring on the Light Socket Assembly was different than the original, so it was a bit confusing how to assemble it, and no screws were provided to attach it to the Lamp Reflector - figuring this out took most... This run capacitor provides the continuous electrical boost needed to keep the refrigerator's compressor motor running efficiently. It stores and releases energy to maintain the proper phase and voltage for the compressor during normal operation. Replace this capacitor if the compressor struggles to start, hums without running, shuts off intermittently, or if the refrigerator stops cooling altogether.
After watching repair videos, I decided I could order the parts needed and do it myself for less than a service call, not to mention the additional cost for parts markup and installation that a service technician would charge. I am very pleased that I did. I ordered the start relay, overload and capacitor with some help from Ilya at customer service to make sure I was getting the correct replacements. Installation was easy. The hardest thing was contorting my body into a position where I could... Read more
