Used video and took apart dru, this was extremely helpful. I bypassed the belt and door switch. Tested gas valves (gas disconnected) with multimeter. Found that the igniter worked the first gas valve, but the second gas valve would not open and the igniter would stay on. Found a flow chart online that shows the flame detect turns on causing the gas to turn on and shuts off the igniter. I replaced it and tested again. Igniter turns on, shuts off, then power to the second gas valve turns... Read more

Fix loud banging, grinding noise, or poor drying performance with a new dryer blower wheel. Restores proper airflow through drum and exhaust vent.
I replaced the dryer motor. I followed the repair video on the Appliance Parts Pro site, with a few modifications to the procedure. I loosened the control panel and flipped it forward to improve access to the wiring connectors. I also loosened the front panel and tipped it forward before disconnecting the door switch as there wasn't enough space to disconnect the switch otherwise. Removal of the blower assembly required the use of penetrating lubricant as the assembly was stuck on the motor... Read more
Plastic drain tube that channels defrost water from evaporator coils to drain pan. Replace if cracked, melted, broken, or causing water leaks in freezer.

Drier assembly for refrigerators. Installs in the sealed refrigerant system to remove moisture and contaminants. Replace if damaged or worn during repair.
This is a mounting holder or grille that secures the moisture sensor bars inside the dryer drum area. The moisture sensor detects how wet the clothes are and signals the control board to end the cycle when they're dry. Replace this holder if it is cracked, broken, or missing, which can cause the sensor bars to be misaligned and lead to clothes coming out still damp or the dryer running too long.
I have order three parts, guide filter, cover guide, and sensor assembly. My previous cover guide was from two parts, when sensor assembly was one of them. New part ( guide cover ) was all in one piece so I just transfer old metal part of sensor to new cover guide and I don't need that sensor assembly anymore. I have ordered all three parts overnight by Fedex, ordered 15 min before 5pm, so next day it was here. Dryer is fixed, I'm happy. Read more
Protects refrigerator light bulbs and sockets from moisture and impacts. Replace if cracked, melted from bulbs staying on, or discolored. Confirm fit.
Was able to diagnose problem at AppliancePartsPros.com by entering the model #. This is apparently a common problem with this Refrigerator Replaced Light Socket Assembly, Lamp Reflector, Lamp Case and Lamp Cover. Also replaced the main circuit board (not sure if this was necessary). The wiring on the Light Socket Assembly was different than the original, so it was a bit confusing how to assemble it, and no screws were provided to attach it to the Lamp Reflector - figuring this out took most... Removed the freezer drawers, ice maker, and panel that the fan motor is attached to. Changed out the fan motor reinstalled everything and plugged it in, and presto. I had ordered the control board just in case but didn't need it. The fan motor wasn't the easier part to replace but it was the cheaper of the two. Because the old motor would run for just a short time I assumed that it wasn't sending a signal back to the control board telling it that it was running. I was right!! Read more
