After an internet search, the likely problem was a faulty "Element Switch.." I actually unplugged the stove and removed the switch (I did NOT disconnect the wires). I obtained the part number on the switch, disassembled it, observed that the contacts were highly degraded, reassembled the switch and reinstalled it back into the stove. The receptacle that held the burner element in place was broken so the burner would not make a connection and heat up. I ordered the receptacle kit. There was even an online video that showed how to make the repair. It just took a screwdriver and wire cutters and about 15 minutes and the job was done. The burner works great. Read more

After I came from from work, my wife told me about the problem. I quickly began to research the code F10 which according to the paper in the pouch behind my range said it needed a new temperature control sensor and that should fix it. Removed the bake element and broil element. Tested them with a multi meter. They failed. Ordered new elements. Received them in 2 days. Installed new elements. Oven works great. The repair was a success. The switch and came looked different from the original. I called Appliance Parts Pro, they lady on the phone said that Frigidaire changed the switch and how to wire it up correctly. Problem solved. It all works as it should. Read more

I unplugged the stove ,cut the 50 amp cord off from the terminal block as it was burned took out the terminal block as it to was all melted .installed the new terminal block with a new stove cord back in business Read more
