The main circuit board that controls all electronic functions of the range, including heating elements, timers, and display features. Replace when the range becomes unresponsive, displays error codes, or cooking elements won't activate properly.
Replaced the control panel. Found a burnt section on back side of control. Took pictures before disconnecting all wires and connections. Just unsnapped wires and cables and replaced with new board. Reassembled all screws and working FINE! Thanks for the quick shipment of the controller! Read more
I bought replacement hinges and installed them myself. The hardest part of the job was the first part: to remove the oven door you have to lock the old hinges with small brackets, and one side did not want to lock--I had to use a hammer. The door was heavier than it looks, but the only challenge after that was the fact that the edges of the door parts were sharp. I probably should have worn gloves when handling them. The igniter switch and harness assembly is the wiring and switch set that sends an electrical signal to the igniter when you turn a burner knob on your gas range. It connects the control knobs to the spark module, triggering the clicking sound and spark that lights the burner. Replace this part if a burner won't spark, sparks continuously on its own, or if clicking persists even after the burner is lit.
After replacing the burner twice and verifying the fuel holes and orifice was not blocked, we fixed the problem by replacing the wiring harness P/N: AP3965774. That and making sure the burner was tightly screwed into the range base to ensure the correct spark gap. Read more
