Opened oven door to the fully opened position. Pulled up the the lock located on both hinge supports and engaged it in the hook of the hinge levers. You may need to apply a little downward pressure on the door to pull the locks fully over the hooks. In addition, you may need to use a flat head screwdriver to "help" engage the hinge locks over the hook. Hold the door securely on both sides (not the door handle). My gas & Carbon Monoxide alarm went off at 6:30 am a couple of Saturday's ago. Had to call fire dept. and gas company. Gas company found a leak in the area of my gas cooktop. They turned off gas and locked the meter. Found the leak & fixed, but while running pressure test on the line, found a leak at the shutoff valve on water heater. Fixed that, called gas company. I was drilling new holes from the top to replace them with stainless steel screws The 1/4" tubing broke free from one of the burners. Getting to it was a nightmare. These so called solid tops were built like an erector set. but I prevailed. I did take one shortcut. I cut the replacement tube and only replaced the damaged burner end and installed a compression fitting. This helped save some time getting to the valve end which was not damaged. Read more
