• Leaking

Replaced tank assembly. Actually I think the supply hose was originally not fully seated in the tank and I think I could have re-seated it deeper through the gray bushing. When I set the line into the new tank, still leaking. Pulled out supply line and reset using a little more force and line went into the tank. The ice chute flap wasnt closing. 1. I turned off power 2, Pulled off facia around controls on freezer door,, you have to pull out the bottom part of the chute first , its clipped in 3. Disconnected the front panel 4. Unscrewed the next panel to allow access to the chute flap 5. Removed 1 screw holding complete flap and mechanism and replaced with new 6. • Ice maker dispenses too much ice

All it really took to fix it was to take off 3 screws and loosen one larger screw. It really was that easy but it took a lot longer to do because we took out a lot of screws that we would not have needed too. Read more

There is one hinge on top and one at the bottom, but it was none of these it ended up being this hinge that I ordered. Door was having a little hesitation at closing, the door would not pull your hand to close or it would not closed by itself. replaced this part and the refrigerator was fixed. Read more

Threaded bases for two roller screws were ~ 80% broken off. Used a short (just barely extends past the end of the roller) sheet metal screw to secure the roller in the upper sliding section of the handle (handle in place first). The head was thick enough to fill the gap between the roller and the cover. Filling that gap accurately is important. Need to keep the roller pushed into the recessed area in the door. Unplugged frig to check connections, everything was ok. When I plugged it back in, nothing worked and the display and ice maker were flickering and clicking. Unplugged the display connector on the main board and could hear clicking from the main board itself. Replacing the main board and capacitor fixed it. I only replaced the capacitor as a precaution. it may not have been bad, but I did it for good measure. Everything is working great now and I don't have to buy a new refrigerator. Read more

I communicated with the people at Appliance Parts Pros via chat. I explained my problem and was sent a diagram to identify the part I needed. They sent me the parts number, which I ordered. I was given a time for delivery. It was delivered before that date. It fits and I no longer have to pick things that were on that bin off the floor. Read more

Ordered parts, removed top tray in freezer, popped the back inside freezer panel out removed and replaced fan, dampers and fan housing. Took about 15 minutes. Read more

Removed replacement glass from box. Wiped clean with disinfectant. Set glass in shelf. Easy peasy. Read more

The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E.
