I watched the video attached to the part schematic for the three parts that work the chute - there is a small motor/actuator and the flap itself (which includes the spring, so really didn’t need to order the spring additionally). The hardest part was getting the cover off - I put tape all around the outside of the edge on the refrigerator to avoid scratching it and then used pry tools I have for automotive repairs (pulling off trim and panels) and was able to get it out without a problem.... So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. It occurred to me that it was a fix I could handle on my own since it was a part unto its own. Therefore I looked up the part number found the website and ordered. Installation: took out the offensive part, replaced it with the new one and I once again had a viable dispenser. Read more

I did an Internet search and found your site. You're customer service representative was friendly and courteous, asked me what I needed. I gave her the refrigerator model number which is all I had. She spent the time needed to find the right bulb. LG doesn't provide great documentation but she cross referenced and double checked she had the right one. She encouraged me to buy two so I had a spare (a great idea). I got my bulb two days and fit perfectly. It was a great experience!! Read more
