The ice maker and auger motor assembly powers the mechanisms that produce ice and push it from the storage bin through the dispenser chute. Without a functioning motor, the ice maker will stop producing ice and the auger will no longer move ice to the dispenser. Replace this assembly if your ice maker has stopped making ice, the dispenser is not dispensing ice, or you hear a humming or grinding noise from the ice bin area.

The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. Unplugged frig to check connections, everything was ok. When I plugged it back in, nothing worked and the display and ice maker were flickering and clicking. Unplugged the display connector on the main board and could hear clicking from the main board itself. Replacing the main board and capacitor fixed it. I only replaced the capacitor as a precaution. it may not have been bad, but I did it for good measure. Everything is working great now and I don't have to buy a new refrigerator. Read more

This was super easy! I ordered the replacement seals from AppliancePartsPros, they also had a video showing how to do it. Once I received the set I simply removed the old ones by pulling them away from the door. I took the new ones and pressed them into place. The only tool needed, was a screwdriver to remove the door divider from the left door. Threaded bases for two roller screws were ~ 80% broken off. Used a short (just barely extends past the end of the roller) sheet metal screw to secure the roller in the upper sliding section of the handle (handle in place first). Plastic drain tube that channels defrost water from evaporator coils to drain pan. Replace if cracked, melted, broken, or causing water leaks in freezer.
I found the condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. I also found a drain tube cracked and breaking. I had to use a snub nose screwdriver to remove and replace condensing fan motor. This is a temperature sensor that monitors the internal temperature of the refrigerator compartment and sends readings to the main control board. The control board uses this data to regulate the compressor and cooling cycles. Replace this sensor if the refrigerator is too warm, too cold, runs continuously, or displays incorrect temperature readings.
