Fix NF, OE, or 4E error codes on your washer. This water inlet valve controls water flow into the drum. DIY repair takes about 15 minutes.

Washer won't start or door won't lock? This door lock motor and switch assembly fixes both issues. Moderate DIY repair requires removing screws and gasket.
Replaced door lock. It required removing the two screws around the lock, pulling the spring hoop wire from around the door gasket, and then disconnecting the two wire terminals from the lock. Reverse with the new part. After cracking open the old lock the failure was caused by a thin plastic tab breaking off. I also bought the door switch since it's cheap - just in case the problem was not the lock. But the door lock was the fix. Read more

The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more

If water pools under your washer or drains slowly, a damaged drain cap may be the cause. This cap prevents leaks and controls water flow during cycles.
At first I thought it was the bearing, but when I got it apart I found the main shaft had corroded from possibly the soap powder and bleach combo build up on the part. After I cleaned it all up I found one of the three mounting braces was cracked and causing the unit to shake during the spin cycle. Once I replaced that part and replaced a few missing parts I lost all found on your store the unit went together just as it came apart and works excellent. Read more

Normally, I hire someone to come fix washer or dryer problems as time is limited and if the cost is close or more than the machine, I buy a new one instead. But since we are on shelter-in-place, I figure I could repair it since I have more time on my hands and my brother assured me, it was not hard to do. I took the top panel, door off and then looked online to find a service manual, which allowed me to take the front panel off. My suspected drain hose was the failure mode: the rubber tube... Replacement power cord for washers. Connects washer to wall outlet for electrical supply. Replace if cord is damaged, frayed, chewed, or cracked.
First I checked the breaker and outlet and both were good...then I unplugged the machine, took the top off, and removed the control panel. I check the wiring to see if there were any loose plug ins, etc...This is where I figured the panel was bad (or possibly the power cord) so I ordered both. The parts arrived the next day. (incredibly fast shipping) Since I wasn't expecting them til after the weekend I left everything disassembled and went on a mini vacation for a couple of days. Upon... Read more

Damper shock absorber for washers. Mounts between outer tub and base to cushion spin motion. Replace if cracked, leaking, or weakened to restore stability.
I didn't end up fixing it. I guessed wrong that it was the Damper Shocks. They came quickly thought and install was a snap. The drum still knocks in spin cycle and that's a major disassembly repair I don't care to do. Read more
