The drive motor powers the washer's drum rotation and is typically located at the bottom of the machine beneath the tub. Replace if the washer won't agitate or spin, makes unusual grinding noises, or stops mid-cycle with clothes still soaking wet.
This siphon break kit installs on the washer's drain hose connection to prevent water from siphoning back into the machine during a wash cycle. It acts as a one-way valve that allows water to drain out while stopping reverse flow. Fix water leaking from detergent dispenser area or inlet connections with this washer injector valve. Acts as siphon break in water supply system.
1. Sleeve for input, Injector valve, nozzle and seal for input fixed this problem. Probably the main part that was the trouble was a deformed Injector Valve which is a rubber tube with an internal retention groove at the wide part that grips the Nozzle. The Sleeve and the Nozzle are hard plastic parts that basically looked fine, but I replaced them anyway while I was in there. This is a small mesh filter screen that fits inside the water inlet valve to catch sediment and debris from your household water supply before it enters the washer. Small drive gear inside the washer transmission gearcase that meshes with mating gears. Replace when worn, stripped, or damaged to restore power transfer.
American appliances are very easy to fix in comparison to imported ones. Just open the washer and take de transmission cover out change the pinion inside removing a simple retainer. In the agitator there is a screw that you loosen it take it out, then de tub and take the shaft out and put a new seal and a new c clamp and reinstall everything back. Top-loading washers are very easy to fix in comparison to front-loading washers that are very difficult to fix. Read more

Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat.
