Noise was coming from dryer rotation so I checked in to what it was. Found out the drum gasket had a tear in it causing the drum to "skip a beat" during operation. Basically making a scraping sound every rotation. I chat'd with AP Pro about parts and found the gasket was more than the drum! You need 2 as well, front and rear, plus glue to secure it. A month ago I replaced the heating element in a Samsung Dryer, everything was working great, then it stopped heating again. I disassembled the dryer again thinking g the heating element had quit working again. After takining it apart again I found the element be still intact and okay. Checked all thermal fuses and replaced. - Still no good Replaced Main Board - Still no good Tested motor and did not get good ohm readings so replaced Motor unit - Still no good Checked voltage coming to back of dryer - one phase was 0 volts and the other was 220. Plug and outlet had arc'd and shorted. Replaced cord and outlet - All is good :) Read more
Due to manufacturer changes, the idler assembly is no longer included. If needed use part number DC93-00634A. For the motor bracket only use part number DC61-01213A.
