It was simple. I removed the twelve screws around the door. Unplugged the old switch, plugged in the new on and screwed it back together. Before I purchased the lock/switch from Appliance Parts. I used the formed plates to engage the slots at the top front of the dishwasher and then screwed the plates to the plywood underside of the quartz countertop. I had to fold over the end of the plates to keep them from extending out past the countertop. Read more

Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. After researching the Internet, I thought the drainage hoses were my problem. First I changed both drainage hoses. That didn’t solve the problem. I had to look for another area that was causing water to drip into the pan. I found water leaking from behind the brake assembly. Started by replacing the upper and middle spray arms. After that no change, dishes in the upper rack not clean. Suspected low water pressure was causing the problem.
