Followed the dacor tech troubleshooting guide. In my case, while the F1 code was actively beeping, and with the control panel fascia tilted down for access, I removed the membrane ribbon conductor. F1 stopped. Reconnected, F1 re-started beeping. Repeated a couple times and it seemed membrane keypad was problem. Removing the oven door is described in detail on many online sources. It involves opening the installed door, depressing it slightly more and engaging clips on both sides that hold the moving hinge parts stationary.
