Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Electrolux front load washer leaking.   Thomas L. • Tonawanda , NY • February 22, 2019

Water was accumulating in the drawer pedestal, it was leaking from the front of the washer so I thought it was the front door seal. I also noticed it would leak even when the washer was not being used so I doubted it was the door seal. I googled the leak problems and watched a few videos which gave me confidence on washer disassembly. With the top panel off I noticed the leak coming from the water inlet assembly. Appliance Parts Pro’s had the part and replacement video and I replaced the part... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Odor and mold   Joel S. • Derry , NH • January 26, 2016

Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed. The video on the door boot seal, and inlet valve assembly were extremely helpful in understanding how these parts are removed and reassembled. Although the door boot seal is the most visible... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You I kept getting "e90" error code and washer wouldn't start washing cycle   Richard R. • Glendora , CA • November 08, 2015

After doing online research about this particular error code I found www.appliancepartspros.com. On the site I searched my washing machine's model number and I found the correct part (in my case, it was the main control board) at a discounted price. I figured that with their no hassle return policy it was a no brainer trying to replace the part myself. The process went fairly smooth. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You E52 error code   Carl B. • Glendale , AZ • October 12, 2014

Hi, it's me again. So I learned a valuable appliance repair lesson when trying to fix this washing machine: don't fix something until you figure out why it broke in the first place! The first speed control board died (fixed with my last story on year) and I assumed it was just a cheap part of something, but I was in fact proved wrong when, to my dismay, the new board died a week or so later. Being the self-appointed washing machine expert I became after the last repair, I got right into the... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Washer would stop after about 30 second on fill cycle diagnostic code of e32   Kenneth B. • Friendswood , TX • June 04, 2016

The E32 diagnostic code that the Frigidaire washer was throwing after a quick water fill attempt was not in the supplied Data Sheet that came with the washer and Frigidaire would not provide and updated Data Sheet because, "it's a liabiliity issue" was their statement, but they did tell me that the problem was in the Fill Pressure Sensor/Wire Harness or the Main Control Board (the display board). Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You E43 error code washer was shutting off before spin cycle   Christopher H. • Richmoind , ME • April 22, 2017

About a year ago, the washer was doing a similar thing, where it would shut off before the spin cycle started. The coin trap was completely clogged then, so I checked it first this time. It was clear, so I took the drain pump out and checked that as well. Nothing seemed to be physically wrong with the machine, so I put it in diagnostic mode, which gave me error code 43 when I tried the spin cycle. This one of the codes for a bad control board. Replacing the board only took about 15 minutes.... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Front load washer door latch broken by movers   Cyndee F. • Cookeville , TN • September 30, 2016

I ordered new latch and 2 new screws ( imagine not having the screws). I put latch in place and with a phillips screw driver attached 2 screws. Tada works like new. If the owner would have just done this herself, I wouldnt have a new set of infinity front loaders for under $300. So thrilled that I can get replacement parts for my appliances. Read more
