This is the electronic control board located behind the user interface panel on the front of the refrigerator, responsible for processing temperature settings, display readouts, and user inputs. It communicates your selected settings to the main control board to regulate cooling functions. Replace this board if the display is blank, unresponsive, shows error codes, or if temperature adjustments no longer take effect.

Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap.
