This cam-door is the small pivoting cam that helps a washer/dryer or laundry door latch and swing smoothly. Replacing a worn or broken cam restores proper door movement and helps the door close and seal reliably. What it does:
Replaced both sets of door cams on my Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. The most important thing to know is that you DO NOT have to remove the doors from the refrigerator to replace BOTH sets of cams. You just have to remove the lower grill which is a snap fit (I also turned off the water and unplugged the unit).
