I unplugged the fridge and took all the food and shelving out of the freezer and then proceeded to take off the bottom sliding drawer rack on both sides off (4 Phillips head screws). Then took off the light bulb cover and then the light bulb. Then the back wall that covers the coils and tubes that the refrigerant runs through ( 2 screws with hex head). This is the funnel guide and lever assembly located in the dispenser area of the refrigerator door. It directs ice from the internal chute into your glass and includes the lever you press to activate the dispenser. Replace this part if ice scatters or misses the glass during dispensing, the lever is cracked or broken, or the funnel no longer stays properly aligned.
I bought two parts. The dispenser housing shield and the funnel ice dispenser. I watched the short video on how to put it back together and I was done in just a matter of minutes.
