Did research to determine what might cause problem. Determined that it was either the infinity switch or the triple haliant burner. Watched several YouTube videos on testing the infinity switch, but none exactly replicated this switch. I easily unplugged the oven and unscrewed the top and those burners and replaced with new one. I plugged it back and tested them. both are working perfectly now. it was very easy and i did not have to pay for technician and labor. Read more

Removed damage terminal block ordered new block on line. when I received new block installed it stove works fine easy to replace. If I had not been home at the time when this happen it may had cause a big house fire. Read more

I called GE and they sent a tech out. $89 service call. Had I REALLY inspected the oven the hidden element had blown and separated and part of it welded itself to the inside of it's compartment. GE wanted another $350 to come back and fix it. I bought the part here for around $55 and had it running again in about an hour! Read more

The oven was so loud, it was hard to talk to someone in the kitchen. We replaced the motor and the fan blade. 1. Turn off power to the oven. 2. Remove the oven doors 3. Remove the cover for the fan. 4. Turn the fan blade nut clockwise to loosen( it's opposite of normal) - Save the nut and the small clip that is behind the fan as you'll need them again. 5. I took the cover off and the fan had separated from the bushing. Ordered a new fan and nut and it took all of 5 minutes to replace. Probably saved $159.99 service call repair and that is with a coupon. Any one can do this repair, just make sure the oven is cold as you will come in contact with metal parts. Read more

Move stove to unplug, remove rear center panel, indentify the two spade connectors that feed the heating element and remove (unplug) them. Remove two screws that hold the element to the inside rear wall of the stove and remove element. Install new element, plug in the previously removed spade connectors, re-install rear center panel, plug range (power) in, move stove back into place and enjoy. Read more

Replaced faulty latch with new latch. New latch was different configuration, but the fit was okay. The only issue was that the wires to the electric motor were just barely long enough. Overall easy repair if you have a T15 Torx bit, phillips screwdriver, and 1/4" nut driver. Hardest part is removing the gas cooktop to gain access to the cleaning latch. 0. I broke two of the elements in my GE Profile cooktop because I failed miserably at removing the glass top. It pays to do your research, kiddies. All it takes is a Number 10 Torx bit to remove 12 screws holding the glass to the body of the appliance, and it lifts straight up. I was replacing the glass because it broke during my home's construction.
