Removed upper basket out of dishwasher by removing slide arm stops. Turned basket upside down and removed broken parts. Took 5 minutes to take apart and put back together. Read more

I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros; it arrived in three working days. I turned off the power and shut off the water to the dish washer, took off the toe guard and unscrewed the appliance from the countertop. I hoped that I could pull the dish washer out from under the counter without disconnecting the water and wiring as I had seen done in the video. This was not an obvious source of a leak. The Tower Heater Assembly Nut developed a crack over time due to heat exposure. So the leak was gradual slowly getting worse over time. It was a hairline crack that ran down one of the edges of the nut making it hard to see. In talking to a pro he said it isn't a common problem. Did some research on the Net and found AppliancePartsPros,com and was impressed by their 365 day return policy. Ordered the latch part and replaced it. Reseated the system board cables. Dish washer began working but display froze again after two washes. I concluded it must be the system board so ordered a system board. It arrived but its replacement did not fix the issue.
