Replaced the evaporator fan motor. On line video did a good job showing how to remove and install the motor. It took about 2 hours to remove, 3 days to recieve the new part and 3 hours to put it in. Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more

I replaced the solenoid, door, spring and bucket. The bucket cracked from ice freezing inside it. Ice froze inside the bucket because the solenoid stopped pulling the door closed which allowed hot humid air into the freezer. While I was in there I replaced the dispenser door, spring and crank because they are cheap and the old ones were moldy. Just be very careful and review the instructions first. Couple of important things: 1. When diagnosing the problem, I discovered that the ice door was not properly sealing and that the solenoid had appeared to rust/corrode forcing the door open. I replaced most of the ice dispenser internals (solenoid, crank, door, and spring) following the video. Replaced the support bracket for the ice bucket. Replaced the auger motor for the ice dispenser and installed the new coupler for the microwave tray to spin. Everything works great now! Read more
