This is a rack adjuster mechanism that allows you to raise or lower the upper dish rack in your dishwasher. It attaches to the side rail and enables height adjustment to accommodate taller items on the lower rack. Replace it if the upper rack tilts, sags to one side, or the adjuster no longer locks into position.

This is a rubber gasket that seals around the door vent opening on a dishwasher, preventing steam and moisture from escaping into areas where they can cause damage. It fits between the vent assembly and the inner door panel.
