I took the dryer apart.....first had to clean out all the lint here and there. Took the drum out, inspected the belt and back support wheels. They seemed to be fine. In the front the drum turns on two supports that have a Teflon glide. Those two glides had been worn off with their pad so metal was rubbing against metal. Spring-loaded belt tensioner that keeps the drive belt properly tightened. Replace if worn, seized, cracked, or causing squealing to restore smooth operation.
Un plugged dryer. It was an easy fix, popped the top up. Removed the two screw that held the front on and also unclipped the door switch. Released tension that was on belt and removed drum. Removed old front slides cleaned up area and replaced them. Popped the ring that held the rear drum wheels and placed the new ones with a dab of grease. I took the machine apart and installed a new brake rotor , Brake stator and a snubber ring, after the install the machine works great and no more squeaking. Replaced the control board after removing the inner door liner, plastice board cover and board itself, by removing screws, working various plastic clips/tabs and unclipping wire harnesses from board. most of time was spent cleaning the black soot from the door, which had a terrible burnt electrical/plastic fire smell. Cleaned mold/scale off of as much of the door as I could while in there as well. Removing parts without breaking plastic tabs to hold the new parts was trickiest part. Read more

This assembly includes the roller shaft and rear support bracket that holds a drum support roller in place inside the dryer. It allows the drum to rotate smoothly on its rear support rollers. Replace this part if the dryer is making squealing, thumping, or rumbling noises, or if the existing shaft is worn, bent, or seized.

I replaced the fill valve assembly with a new one. Had to look carefully at the parts diagrams to make sure I ordered the right one since the serial number break old vs. new didn't seem to match the number on my machine. On this particular machine you don't need to pull it out too far from the wall-leave the hoses connected to the valve, remove the screw holding the valve bracket, and pull into the washing machine where you can easily access the hose ends. Felt pad.
Removed front wall of dryer, disconnected electrical from wall(first thing). Disconnect front door switch, remove tub, remove felt, clean, used compressed air to blow out all dust from heater assembly. Used compressed air to blow out all lint catch line parts. Used electrical contact cleaner to clean all electrical connections where dust and lint had gathered.
