This screw is a genuine General Electric part, sold individually. This screw can be used as a replacement part for a refrigerator. A screw can suffer damage in the lifespan of a refrigerator. It can also be easily lost or misplaced. Screws are small parts and are usually installed in multiples to ensure components are reliably attached, so one screw loosening or going missing might not necessarily affect the operability of the refrigerator. However, if the components loosen or the screw suffers damage that strips the part, such as punctures or erosion to the metal material from general wear and tear or from a direct impact, the screw should be removed and replaced with this genuine OEM replacement part. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually. This screw is compatible with the following appliance brands: General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, and Americana.
I ordered the new slides for the shelves, the order came in a couple of days. All parts were there. The husband installed new slides and bearings in about 20 minutes with minimal effort. He said the hardest part was contorting his torso to be able to use the screwdriver. All good thank you. Read more
This fan-mount grommet fits the evaporator or condenser fan assembly to isolate vibration and keep the motor aligned. Replacing a worn grommet can quiet rattles and prevent the fan blade from rubbing the housing. What it does:
Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more
This shelf support is the small rear rail clip that secures a refrigerator shelf or drawer rail in place. A worn or broken support can let the shelf tilt or drop, making storage unstable.
I ordered my parts. It was a breeze thanks to appliancepartspros.com. I received the parts the next day. Installed them myself. Read more
The Pan Cover Front Gasket is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This gasket provides a seal for the front edge of the refrigerator's crisper or pantry drawer pan cover, preventing cold air from escaping and ensuring that the contents remain at the optimal temperature for freshness.
Common causes of a bad gasket include regular wear and tear, exposure to food spills, or accidental damage from frequent opening and closing of the drawer.
Symptoms of a bad pan cover front gasket include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. Now the freezer door is dripping... Read more
This refrigerator lamp socket holds an E12-base appliance bulb and provides the electrical connection for the light fixture. Replace it when the light won't turn on or flickers despite a known-good bulb and functioning door switch.
When diagnosing the problem, I discovered that the ice door was not properly sealing and that the solenoid had appeared to rust/corrode forcing the door open. I replaced most of the ice dispenser internals (solenoid, crank, door, and spring) following the video. The door will now open when dispensing ice (which it does!), and will oddly stay open for a few seconds once I am finished, but does seal properly and the chute/container no longer frosts over. Refrigerator primary ice and water dual coil water inlet valve. For the filter valve order WR57X10024. For the assembly including both the primary and filter valve having the short bracket order WR57X10026. For the assembly including both the primary and filter valve having the long bracket order WR57X10022.
First, I had to remove the cover plate on the back of the refrigerator. Then I unscrewed the water inlet valve from the rest of the assembly. I then unplugged the electrical contacts by pulling them apart. There are two fittings on the valve. One has a nut on it. That one just needs the nut unscrewed, after which the pex tubing can be pulled out. The other one has a pex connection. This one can be separated by simultaneously pushing in on the fitting neck while pulling the pex tubing out. On... Read more

The Door Handle is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This part provides a secure and comfortable grip for opening and closing the refrigerator door.
Causes of a bad door handle can include regular wear and tear, accidental impact, or repeated use, which can lead to cracks, breaks, or loosening of the handle.
Symptoms of a bad door handle include:
Replaced with new handles Read more
The recess door retainer secures the dispenser's ice chute flapper in the refrigerator door. Replacing a cracked or missing retainer restores proper flapper pivot and sealing to help reduce frost buildup and air leaks around the dispenser.
I replaced the solenoid, door, spring and bucket. The bucket cracked from ice freezing inside it. Ice froze inside the bucket because the solenoid stopped pulling the door closed which allowed hot humid air into the freezer. While I was in there I replaced the dispenser door, spring and crank because they are cheap and the old ones were moldy. The mold is most likely from the door not closing and causing condensation on the parts as well. Read more
This right-hand bucket glide supports a refrigerator bin/drawer and forms the track it slides on. It restores smooth, level movement and proper alignment when the original glide is cracked, worn, or missing.
It was very simple, took longer to unload freezer than to install glides Read more
The Freezer Light Cover is an OEM replacement part for GE refrigerators designed to protect the light bulb in the freezer compartment from any potential damage or breaks. It helps maintain a safe and well-lit freezer environment, making it easier to locate and retrieve items.
A bad freezer light shield cover can occur due to regular wear and tear or accidental damage. If you notice symptoms such as a flickering or dim freezer light, or if the light bulb is exposed and vulnerable, it may indicate a need to replace this part.
Symptoms of a bad freezer light cover include:
Restore lighting in your freezer by replacing the faulty freezer light cover with this genuine OEM part.
This GE part can also be used on Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore/Sears appliances.
Replace solenoid, flapper door and recess spring. Really only needed solenoid, but other parts were so inexpensive and I knew I would already be in there. Read more
Water line from water valve up to icemaker fill tube.
Thanks to the AppliancePartsPro, I ordered it online and received it quickly. I even used the step by step directions on how to replace the tube from the AppliancePartsPro website. Just be very careful and review the instructions first. Couple of important things: 1. Take a picture of the existing wiring and tubes before you take them apart. 2. *if* you remove the wires ( red and white plugs) from the valve, make sure you plug them back in correctly. 3. Do not pull or push the tubes hard. Use... Read more
