Changed ignitor. Ordered new ignitor by just putting dryer model number in the search box. When I opened the dryer up and took the old one out I was originally upset. The meter read 73 ohms. The start button broke?!? I ordered another start button and it looked exactly like the one I had. I figured it would break as well, so I might as well try to fix the broken one. I unplugged the power, removed the back of the dryer console, disconnected the start switch from the button and the dryer, depressed the 3 pop out tabs to remove the button from the dryer. Fix melted plastic or goop marks on clothes with a new dryer heat diffuser. Replaces damaged diffuser that causes staining. DIY repair with 3 screws.
Removed 3 screws which required a torx bit. Used small headless nails to line up the holes and use as a guide for sliding on new diffuser. Put screws in one at a time and tightened down. rotating the drum helped with slight mis-alignement with the screw holes. Read more

We ordered a door switch, dryer latch and strike plate. We realized that we only needed to replace the door switch. We watched a few videos and then replaced the switch. We couldn’t find a video for our model but they did give us a pretty good idea about what we needed to do.
