This auxiliary relay is an electrical switch used by the control to route line voltage to high-demand components. Replacing a weak or failed relay restores reliable power delivery for consistent heating and fan operation, depending on the model.
I first tested and replaced the temperature sensor. Since this is a slide-in range, I managed to pull it out just enough to access the back without disconnecting the downdraft and gas line. (For wall models this would not be the case.) Unfortunately, that did not do it. Next I replaced the lower heating element because it was a little below the ohms level it should be at. No go. So far, both of these were pretty easy to do and were relatively inexpensive so I wasn't too frustrated. Then I... Read more
This leveling leg screw threads into the appliance base to raise or lower the chassis, helping you stabilize the unit on uneven floors. Replace a missing, bent, or stripped screw to restore solid, level footing.
I price shopped for the missing adjuster feet for our big box discounted slide in range. Most local appliance parts suppliers want $12 - $15 per foot... I needed 3, applianceparts.com had them for 4.50 plus shipping. I saved enough to go out to eat and avoid using the new range for another day. Read more

This spark ignitor ground assembly creates the spark and grounded path needed to light a gas burner. Replacing a worn electrode restores consistent ignition and helps reduce continuous clicking or burners that fail to ignite.
Sealed burner assembly that supplies a protected gas flame for a gas range, restoring consistent heat and helping keep spills and debris out of the burner box. Designed as a direct-replacement assembly for affected burners. What it does
Flip the burner facing down. Take out the seven screws that hold together the housing and the slip off the housing. Disconnect the igniter leads. Turn the burner clock wise from the opposite side your likely working. You'll get a better purchase there. Take the screws out of the old igniter, as they don't come in with the new igniter. Install the new igniter on to the new burner. Make sure that the igniter is poking all the way out of the whole in the burner. I found that the screws did... Read more

A shoulder screw that secures appliance components and provides a precise pivot or spacer point. Replaces a missing or worn screw to restore alignment, reduce rattling, and keep panels and assemblies securely in place. What it does:
I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more

This electronic control board is manufactured by Whirlpool. The control board acts as the heart of the oven and allows the user to adjust temperatures, change cooking modes, and more. Without a functioning control board, the oven will not operate, so replacement when it fails is essential. The electronic control board is installed beneath a protective covering, so the chance of damage is reduced, but not eliminated. Exposure to heat, spilled liquids, impacts with solid objects, and simple wear due to use can all lead to an inoperable control board. This may present as intermittent operational problems, or the board could be completely inoperable. Replacing the electronic control board will require first turning off the power to the oven, then removing the metal cover/surround. Six screws hold the control board in place and will need to be removed. The replacement follows the same steps in reverse order. This is a genuine OEM replacement, directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This electronic control board is compatible with equipment from Whirlpool and Jenn-Air.
First of all Appliance Parts Pros is the best!! I would not have had the confidence to make this repair myself without their outstanding videos and Q&A sections on their website. And their prices for parts are very competitive. Like many stories on the website, my oven would heat up beyond the temperature set point. When it reached the target temperature, the lower heating element (I think this is the “bake” element) would shutoff, but the top element (“broil” element I believe) would remain on... Read more
This orifice holder secures and positions the gas orifice at the burner, helping restore correct gas flow and consistent flame performance for compatible gas cooktop/range burners. Use it to replace cracked, warped, or missing holders. What it does:
I am a plumber by trade so I was guessing my way through this. It took me a while to figure out that I had to drill out the screws that held the burners in place. The screws were so rusted that I couldn't tell that they were philips. Then I found that I needed to pull the stove out about 5" and put 2x4s under the feet so I could get the screws that hold the top down. I ruined the orfice holders trying to drill out the old screws. I think my entire problem was caused by rust on the pan that the... Read more

I replaced the Igniter switch, two control valves and one holder/orifice (because I couldn't get the screws out and decided to just replace it rather than re-tape it and get new screws). The one thing I forgot was I have propane and the orifice was for natural gas. Fortunately, I was able to swap out the orifice from the old holder. Read more
