  • Cracked fins or a stripped hub can cause the wheel to slip on the motor shaft
What's included:
  • 1 blower wheel
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and turn off gas supply before servicing
  • Access the blower housing per your model's service instructions; remove the retaining hardware and replace the wheel in the same orientation

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Stove downdraft stopped working   Robert B. • Gaithersburg , MD • March 08, 2016

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Dropped a wine bottle on a jen air glass range top and broke it   Bernard G. • North Palm Beach , FL • November 12, 2014

Once you are resigned to disconnecting the exhaust fan system under the range so you can remove the range from the surrounding counter, the rest is easy. once out, its 8 screws to remove the top and 8 screws to remove the heating elements, and 2 simple wire conneop back onto the stovectors. Control Panel
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W10314417

This is a Whirlpool range control panel assembly. It houses the display, user interface buttons, and has space for temperature control knobs. With extended use, the buttons on a control panel may wear out or stop responding to user input. Before installing this part, be sure to cut power to the appliance and allow it to cool completely. Remove the screws from each side of the old control panel to disconnect it, then carefully remove any boards or other components installed within the panel. Once it has been completely removed, the new control panel can be installed in its place. This is a genuine OEM part compatible with ranges manufactured by Jenn-Air, but may also work with other Whirlpool brands, including Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and others. This product is just the panel and contains no additional parts or hardware.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Control panel on jenn air stopped working   Timothy E. • Waterford , MI • November 05, 2017

It was very easy. First, researched the problem online and found a great video on YouTube which clearly showed the same problems we were having. Went to AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered the new Front Control Panel for about $230 along with a new oven door gasket for about $20 (YouTube video talks about how heat escapes quite easily and it is best to replace the gasket often). To replace the control panel you have to remove 2 side screws (1 on each side likely hidden by the counter) and 4... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Half the buttons didn't work after power surge   David W. • Molena , GA • February 22, 2016

One day our house lost power for only about a second or two, and then everything in the house came back as normal, except now half the buttons on the stove front didn't work. It made more sense to me that it was the sensitive electronic computer board and not the front panel which just holds the buttons that was fried, however I had read online how some other people had fixed a similar problem with replacing the panel with the buttons. Thanks to this site's fantastic return policy, I decided to... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Replace igniter on gas oven (maytag)   Jeffrey H. • Pelham , NH • January 03, 2020

I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more
