I removed all the individual burners so I could lift the stainless cover to expose the igniter wires. I cleaned all the wire connections and the 4 good igniters and replaced the one bad igniter. This indicator light lens covers the control-panel lamp opening, diffusing the light and protecting the hole from debris and contact. Replace a missing or damaged lens to restore a clean, finished look and clear on/off indication.
Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. When the lens broke the light fell down into the base of the cooktop. I bought a light and lens but for the price I could not go wrong. I cannot believe how fast and easy my order was handled!!
