Since my Ge Profile Gas Stove has non adjustable air & gas mixture valve, my options were limited to couple of other components. We had a repairman look at the range and at first he was searching the regulator was not the problem. He said regulators seldom fail. Finally he determined the regulator was the problem but said he could not get the part through his supplier. In less than a minute I found this part online and ordered it. The repair was a breeze. All of the information on the web repair sites said "replace the hinges as the springs are worn out." Didn't fix the problem. The top of the door still wouldn't seal, and the. Leaning latch wouldn't catch the door unless you pressed on the door. The inside panel of the door was fatigued. Too many turkeys were set on the door over the years.
