I thought it would be difficult but after your video it was a snap to add the Gasket. Biggest problem finding how to remove the door. It was really easy after watching the video. Read more
I thought the expensive controller was overheating because the fan wasn't activating. So I replaced this fan switch. The old one bench tested the same as the new one using a heat gun. The $200 controller is on its way. This part should be IDed as the Fan Limit Switch. It's distinguishable from the other switch because the mounting tabs are parallel with the electrical blades. Fast n easy, took old gasket out using needle nose pliers. Installed new gasket tucking in on left side and putting in each hole till finished. Tucked in on right side. Sometimes you have to cut off a bit if its too long. Read more

Pulled out the oven. Which was tough since the installer had used drywall screws to hold it in the cabinet. Set up a portable workbench to stand the oven on, allowing access on all three sides of the oven. Removed the metal heat shield panels on all sides, keeping track of the screws and sizes. Removed second layer panels on sides to access the hinges on either side (replacing in pairs, as advised in GE manual). Removed broken hinge, and the other one, replaced them with new ones.
