Ordered two boards which were indicated as the possible problem. I took detailed pictures of each board before removing to assure I was reconnecting all the connections correctly. I used a long set of needle nose pliers to remove each connector. The tricky part was trying to figure out how to remove the boards. Checked and found the evaporator frozen causing the fan to stop working. Took the interior panels off and applied a blow dryer to the ice, once the ice melted I cut the tabs on the grommet holding the fan since everything is thin plastic and replaced the grommet and fan. Placed everything back and found no further issues. Tools I used were a small flat head screwdriver to pry the panels off and a 1/4 socket to remove the center drawer (4), water filter cover (2), and the ice maker (2). Not too... Read more

First, I had to replace a cracked roller so I could roll the frig out. I did this by tilting it slightly and shoving a shim underneath. I had to use two shims to get enough clearance for the wheel. I unscrewed the old wheel, screwed in the new one pretty easy, removed the shims and rolled it out. Remove and replaced the auger motor, shaft seal, and the chute seal. No problem. However, the causing failure was to broken wire on the bottom of the freezer door. Loom and blue wire were cut, due to being pinched. I had current to start with and the auger worked three times then quit. That's when I really had to start searching . Fun. Read more
