I found you on google. We have an after market ice maker installed on our Jenn Air fridge. It was running over all the time. My brother in law had an ice maker on his fridge and it has an attachment on his icemaker that shuts it off before it overeflows. I went to Lowes and looked at a whirlpool fridge that has an attachment on its icemaker. I got the part number on it. I went on line with the part number and it came up on your website with a whirlpool number. I called your number and... Read more

Replaced door latch and switch. Parts are plastic so you must know what you are doing to avoid breaking new parts. Videos were hard to find for my model - eventually I found a video that addressed a different problem but required disassembly of a washer cabinet similar to mine. Using a rubber mallet, I gently knocked the top panel... Read more

This thermistor is the refrigerator's temperature sensor. It continuously measures compartment temperature and sends resistance signals to the control, helping the system regulate cooling for steady performance and consistent food preservation.
First I did the obvious: Changed the evaporator fan motor and condenser fan motor. Then I realized there was too little air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator, so I replaced the air baffle assembly. Now everything works again. This should have been a piece of cake, but in the 48" Kitchenaid side-by-side built-in, the baffle assembly is mounted on the side wall of the refrigerator rather than the back wall as the video showed. That means the hole for the rear of the two screws holding... Read more

This is a replacement screw designed to work with a wide range of household appliances. It is used for many purposes in these appliances, from holding body panels together to securing electronics into control boards. However, screws are subject to damage through corrosion, impact, and improper installation/removal. In most cases, the primary damage to this screw is through corrosion – it may become rusted or corroded in place, depending on the appliance and the maintenance provided during its lifespan. The screw may also be stripped or rounded due to improper removal or installation. If the screw is damaged, lost, or corroded in place, it will need to be replaced. In most cases, removal will require nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver or the appropriately sized socket with a ratchet. However, if the screw is damaged, it may require a tap set to remove it from its mounting location. Note that this is a genuine OEM replacement screw made from durable, high-quality metal, and is sold individually. It fits Whirlpool, Maytag, Roper, Estate, Amana, Crosley, and Thermador appliances. It is used in over 150 machines, ranging from washers and dryers to air conditioners.

Then remove the display board by popping it out of the mounting brackets that attach to the refrigerator. Once the dispenser and display have been removed, access the old control board. Unfasten the screws attaching it to the refrigerator and remove the wire harness along with any individual wires. Be sure to take note of the orientation of the wires. Re-insert them into the correct terminals on the new board and reattach the new board to the refrigerator. reinstall the dispenser and display board and restore power to the refrigerator. This genuine replacement part is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand refrigerators.
I ordered a new interior control panel from Appliance Parts Pros and popped it in with no success. I was able to return the part money back and hassle free. I assessed that because the compressor was also not turning on that the issue could be the relay board. I was able to find the newest version of the board on Appliance Parts Pros easily and swap out the part. I replaced the relay board and everything started right up. My wife and I love our new fridge.
