This clamp secures a flexible appliance hose to a fitting to help prevent leaks and keep connections tight. It's a small but essential part that restores a proper seal on water or drain lines. What it does:
This seal kit is for the main tub. It goes around the pump housing.
1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. Replaced the delivery tube and receiver which is attached to the top wash rack. When the top wash rack is pushed in to close the washer door the seal is made to deliver the wash eater through the tube to the upper spray head.
