This light clip secures the interior lamp assembly in place so the refrigerator light stays positioned and protected. It's a small plastic retainer designed to hold the lamp or lens securely behind the housing. What it does:

To eliminate ordering parts that are working, I went to hardware store to get a multimeter to test and confirmed the continuity of the themal fuse and the door switches are working. Saw another reviewer post a similar problem and I went with the solution by replacing the panel-ctl. Ordered the part, replaced it after receiving the delivery package, turned the breaker back on, ran a test cycle, et voila, it works as new. Our dishwasher quit working again for the 3rd time recently. We researched on You Tube for similar issue, and possible fixes. I bought the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Removed water inlet hose. Removed water outlet hose. Removed water inlet valve which was held on with one screw. Replaced the water inlet value.
