Water was not draining on spin cycle. Opened front cover and found belt laying on the floor. After further inspection found motor pulley wheel broken. Ordered pulley and belt kit. Replaced pulley along with pump belt and tub belt. Washer is working again. Read more

I removed the front cover and saw water a rusted out drum cover clamp. Water gushed out at this point when i operated the machine. I ordered a new clamp and seal from Appliance Parts Pros, which arrived quickly. I wire-brushed the drum and it's cover clean, in the sealing area and installed the new seal and clamp. NOTE do not set the cover down all the way down, or the tub will not "spin". Leave 3/8- 1/2" clearance between the top of the tub and the upper cover. I chose to fix my old... Read more

It was not difficult to diagnose the problem with the washing machine at my Mom's house: the timer knob was broke and just free-spinning. I took the cover off the transmission and determined that the only possible knocking had to be coming from the yoke. I ordered a new yoke and all the tub seals needed to put it back together like new. I also ordered a new drive pulley bearing because this bearing is always turning whenever the washer is used. Removed agitator, inner washer barrel, and agitator shaft then drained all the water and emulsified oil out of the transmission. Filled the transmission with new oil and then replaced the worn agitator shaft, shaft collar, shaft o-ring and stem sealing system. Read more
