The insulation in my old Ohio house is terrible, and the Valve Assy, Inlet part under my dishwasher must have froze and burst when the temperature outside got below 0. I ordered this part here, and literally got it the next day. Awesome. The how-to video on the site was perfect. Not only did I replace the part in about an hour, but I saved ~$200 by canceling my LG service repair appointment. Read more

So all of a sudden the dishwasher stops working, "0E error"on the panel. Did some google searches and found that it might be the filter, which I did not know needed to be changed, or worse, the motor. Took the filter off per online tutorial (easy) and mopped up all the stagnant water. Poking around, I find the small rubber check valve that has broken. Had to fish it out with tweezers. Long story short, it was not the motor and I doubt it was the filter. It was this $1.87 rubber drainage... Read more
The Float Assembly is an OEM replacement part for LG dishwashers. It is a sensor located inside the dishwasher that monitors water levels during wash cycles. Causes of a faulty float include mineral buildup on sensors overtime, cracks or leaks developing, and damage to electrical wiring from impacts. Symptoms of a bad float assembly include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with some Sears/Kenmore models.
I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. Then on power up, I found that the wash motor did not... Read more
The Upper Spray Arm is an OEM part for LG dishwashers. This part is located at the top of the dishwasher tub, responsible for spraying water and detergent onto the upper rack of dishes during the wash cycle.
Causes of a bad Upper Spray Arm can include mineral buildup or debris clogging the spray holes, physical damage from impact or foreign objects, or wear and tear over time.
Symptoms of a faulty Upper Spray Arm include:
I replaced the upper nozzle guide, nozzle shaft and upper spray arm. I also replaced the pump gasket for good measure. Top rack dishes had not been cleaning properly. I first removed the filter assembly to inspect the main pump from above. It was clogged but after cleaning and reassembly I observed that while middle and bottom spray arms were changing position, the upper spray arm was not. I confirmed that water was flowing through the upper spray arm by placing some empty yogurt pots on a... Read more
The Upper Spray Arm Pivot Shaft is an OEM part for LG dishwashers. This part allows the upper spray arm to rotate and distribute water evenly throughout the upper rack during the washing cycle.
Causes of a bad part can include wear and tear over time, damage from foreign objects, or improper installation or alignment.

This door hinge spring counterbalances the dishwasher door so it opens smoothly and stays where you set it. Replace a weakened or broken spring to restore proper door tension and prevent the door from dropping or slamming.
I did not know which part broke, but it was very obvious once I moved the Dishwasher out of the cabinet. The "cable" is nylon cord, so I imagine this would be sacrificial part on every machine. Read more

This small sleeve bushing supports a pivoting or rotating joint in your dishwasher, providing a smooth bearing surface. Replacing a worn bushing helps restore quiet operation and protects mating parts from further wear. What it does
Thanks to LG NOT sending the parts THEY say are included with the dishwasher, I had to buy them in order to install the appliance. I sure hope the LG appliance performs better than their customer service. Very simple fix....bought the EXACT items needed from AppliancePartsPros.com and in just a matter of two days, had the parts needed. Amazing! Excellent experience. The fix was attaching the brackets to the cabinet and screwing it to the countertop. Also just popping the screw covers... Read more
This gasket creates a watertight seal between mating parts in the dishwasher's water system. Replacing a worn or damaged seal helps stop leaks during cycles and maintains proper wash performance. What it does:
This thermistor holder secures the temperature sensor in place inside the dishwasher, ensuring accurate water temperature readings for proper wash and dry performance.
Followed the LG owner's manual instructions for cleaning the wash "arms". After that was complete the lower arm wouldn't operate. The filter assemble was caked with calcium, so decided to replace it and the lower spray arm and the "Holder" as your catalog described it. Removal and replacement were easy. The exploded parts diagrams on your website were very helpful. Read more

This impeller assembly spins on the dishwasher's pump to move water through the system. Replacing a worn or broken impeller restores proper water flow, helping maintain wash performance and reducing noise from the pump area. What it does:
I replaced the dishwasher circulation motor. I also replaced the impeller assembly, although it turns out that was not necessary. Actually replacing the motor was straightforward: Remove the upper and lower racks. Turn off the breaker and water supply. Disconnect power, supply water and drain hose. Slide out the dishwasher. Inside the dishwasher, unscrew the two screws holding on the bottom rotating sprayer and remove the sprayer, unscrew the one screw holding the little metal bracket and... Read more

I replaced the float assembly. The float assembly was clogged with a soft sludgy material. It works perfectly now Read more
This replacement switch cam interfaces with a lever or knob to actuate a microswitch. It restores reliable on/off signaling and the positive feel/engagement of the related control or latch mechanism when the original cam wears or cracks.
This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets). It would be wise to order the motor seal and micro switch that goes with it as they are all cheap parts and easy to swap out during the procedure. Be sure to take... Read more
This dishwasher sump gasket seals the joint between the sump assembly and the tub to prevent leaks and maintain wash performance. Replace it if the old seal is worn, flattened, cracked, or damaged to stop water escaping beneath the unit.
I ordered a tub seal to fix a gasket that let go in our LG LDS4821BB. Once I tore it apart to get the gasket out (little trouble) I also found what has made this DW stink for the last year. I needed to also replace the filter unit in the bottom of the tub and clean the heater area. I ordered the filter the same day I got the gasket. Both arrived WITHIN 48hrs of my order. Wow!! What more can you ask for? Great prices too. Both parts were replaced by removing a total of 12 screws and easy... Read more
Sump assembly collects and channels a washer's drained water into the drain pump to let the machine empty properly. Replacing a worn or cracked sump helps stop leaks and restores normal draining performance. What it does:
My project involved replacing the sump assembly and main motor on my LG dishwasher. The parts arrive in about 2-3 days. Wow, FAST! With the help of videos from LG I knew what to do. The trick with the whole project was ensuring that I transferred ALL gaskets from the old sump assembly to the new one. I missed transferring one around a sensor, then did not get the gasket around the pump motor properly. Once all those were correct all leaks stopped, new motor is whisper quiet (all I hear now is...
