Fix OE drainage errors and mid-cycle overfilling with this dishwasher check valve. Prevents water backflow into the tub. Easy 30-minute repair for most DIYers.
So all of a sudden the dishwasher stops working, "0E error"on the panel. Did some google searches and found that it might be the filter, which I did not know needed to be changed, or worse, the motor. Took the filter off per online tutorial (easy) and mopped up all the stagnant water. Poking around, I find the small rubber check valve that has broken. Had to fish it out with tweezers. Long story short, it was not the motor and I doubt it was the filter. It was this $1.87 rubber drainage... Read more
Dishwasher not filling with water or leaking? The float assembly monitors water levels and prevents overfills. Moderate DIY repair, 1-2 hours.
I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. Then on power up, I found that the wash motor did not... Read more
Replace your dishwasher's upper spray arm if cracked, broken, or clogged beyond cleaning. Installs in the top of the tub to spray water on the upper rack.
I replaced the upper nozzle guide, nozzle shaft and upper spray arm. I also replaced the pump gasket for good measure. Top rack dishes had not been cleaning properly. I first removed the filter assembly to inspect the main pump from above. It was clogged but after cleaning and reassembly I observed that while middle and bottom spray arms were changing position, the upper spray arm was not. I confirmed that water was flowing through the upper spray arm by placing some empty yogurt pots on a... Read more

Followed the LG owner's manual instructions for cleaning the wash "arms". After that was complete the lower arm wouldn't operate. The exploded parts diagrams on your website were very helpful. Read more
Small sleeve bushing that supports pivoting or rotating joints in your dishwasher. Replace when worn, cracked, or causing excess friction between moving parts.
Thanks to LG NOT sending the parts THEY say are included with the dishwasher, I had to buy them in order to install the appliance.
