Dishwasher won't start or displays flashing lights? The control board manages cycles, detergent dispenser, and water release. DIY repair in 10 minutes.
I went to appliancepartspro.com and found out that the problem could be the main circuit board. I went on and ordered the part, knowing it could be returned if necessary, but it was like music to my ears when I installed the part, myself, and turned the power back on. Easy. Replacement upper rack assembly for dishwashers. Holds dishes and glasses in the upper section. Needed when rack is cracked, broken, or wheels are worn.
The part just snaps on the basket. You have to remove the clips on the end of the runner arms to be able to remove the basket. Once it was out the old arm snap off and you snap on the new arm. Only problem was my old arm was fine and I wished the company would just sell the gasket. It seems a waste to have to purchase the whole arm. The complete job took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. I ordered the part online a Sunday afternoon and it arrived at my house on Tuesday. Read more

The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. There's no telling how much the door had opened and closed!? The bottom Door Seal/Gasket was badly worn, and the entire job took me around 30 minutes which included the detailed cleaning of the mating flanges. Take your... Read more
Dishwasher won't start or lights flash? A faulty door latch prevents cycle start. This common repair takes 15 minutes with basic tools and 8-10 screws.
Replaced latch assy. It was really easy, 8 screws on door and 2 screws on latch assy. Took off old one and put new one on. Plug into dishwasher and completed in less than 5 minutes. I found a bypass for latch switch on you tube. A couple of wires to bypass to verify that it was the switch that was my problem. Read more
Brass nut that secures the heating element to the dishwasher tub. Replace if cracked, split, or causing leaks around the element mounting area.
Heating element nut had cracked causing a leak. Rather than run right out and buy a new one, I found the cracked nut and replaced it for about 11.00. Thank you Appliance pros. Quick shipping. Read more
Balances and supports the dishwasher door for smooth opening and closing. Replace if broken, worn, or causing the door to drop too quickly or hang loose.
Took cover completely off and tried putting back, could not match up left screw with available screw hole. Tried many different configurations and sequences to make this happen. watched a video on changing the front panel, the door in it had four screws, mine 2, no help there. Searched on the hyperextending issue, found an article about dogs and kids [had both here] climbing on the door and to check the springs and linkages. Linkages intact both sides, R [opposite] side spring very stretched.... Read more

This tube delivers incoming water from the inlet valve to the wash system inside the dishwasher. Replace this feed tube if you notice leaks beneath the dishwasher, reduced water flow into the tub, or visible cracks and damage to the tube.
Replaced the upper spray arm tube with a new one. Also replaced delivery tube grommet and the delivery tube gasket. Now everything works fine and no more leaks. Read more
A rubber mounting grommet that cushions and positions components to reduce vibration and wear, helping parts seat securely for reliable operation. What it does:
Secures the lower spray arm in place. Replace if tabs are broken, worn, or missing, causing the spray arm to detach or not lock down properly. Installs under filter.

Dishwasher won't fill with water? A faulty water level float switch prevents proper filling. This switch assembly typically takes 15 minutes to replace.
Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. Great to have a working dishwasher again! Read more
