Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I first thought the leak came from the pump assembly rear o ring. I was wrong. The water was leaking from the pump. The pump assembly was shipped in 1 1/2 days with 2 more o rings.
